Adventure Country Tracks is a non-profit foundation whose mission is to establish and maintain off-road routes and tracks in European countries for so-called adventure motorcycles / dual purpose bikes.
Created in 2016 on the initiative of several Touratech employees from Germany and Portugal, all funds for Adventure Country Tracks are invested in the projects, there is no commercial goal.
By providing information, advocacy and promoting responsible motorcycle travel, ACT seeks to preserve motorcycling on unpaved roads in the hinterland for generations to come and also to promote tourism in rural areas. Adventure Country Tracks works with enthusiastic partners in some countries of Europe, with tourism authorities, land administrations, forest services, tourist boards, tour operators, etc. to provide routes and remote roads for motorcycling. Our desire is to provide a detailed documentation of the routes, areas and backgrounds and to motivate the traveler to follow these routes.
Everyone can join and be a member, it’s a tough but incredible experience, a lot of fun, a natural immersion and a great opportunity to test products in real and extreme conditions. New friendships are made and old ones reinforced. A project we will continue to support and grow to new countries.

In 2018, the brand new Dual Sport XWED2 has been integrated into the all-terrain adventures of this project. Used in recognition and discovery of the entire route of ACT Romania, which took place under extreme and very severe conditions, X.WED 2 passed this difficult test.
And now, the cherry on the top of the cake … GPS routes are available to anyone, for free along with all the information!
That said, it remains to wish everyone who ventures on these routes and enjoy ACT, preferably with NEXX X.WED2, just like the adventurers who designed them!
